Once again I advertise for my communities.

earlyadopters (117 post.acc.) [Screened Membership] - "Early Adopter accounts are those which were created before mid-September 2000. No accounts created after this date can obtain the Early Adopter account type." Please join is you are an early-adopter, because we want to represent the entire earlyadopter userbase, and not just a small fraction. Even if your account was originally an earlyadopter type and now you have another type, please put in your membership request.

bikes (1382 members) - "Bicycles, Mopeds, Motorbikes, Mountain Bikes, Motorcycles, Scooters, Sprees all of em' and more! Tricycles, even! Quads, and three-wheelrs, too! Velocipedes and other historic models as well, of course."

There are some LJ communities that already deal with either poverty or homelessness as a central theme or concept, but this one is different in that membership is screened for those who actually are homeless and want a community for that purpose. The member should have a recently created entry that explains as much as they are willing to discuss about their homeless living condition and should contain a link or two to older entries discussing the journal owner's being homeless."
